I’ve grown up surrounded by flowers, gardens, trees and all things green my whole life. My grandpa on my dad’s side was a master gardener and had a beautiful greenhouse attached to his home. Anytime we would visit, I wanted nothing more than to be out in the greenhouse with all of his plants. He had a passion for cacti and succulents and every year started many of his own flowers from seed. My imagination ran wild any time I was out in the greenhouse. It has always been (and still is) a dream of my own to have a greenhouse one day. 

Both my father and my mother are also passionate about plants and gardening. To this day it’s a shared passion that I cherish with both of them. I love visiting my dad’s home and seeing what designs and flowers he has in the flower beds each year. My mom and I both love visiting new garden centers, and we try to make a garden center shopping trip every year to stock up. We get such enjoyment just being present with plants. Both my step dad and my husband share a friendly annoyance with the number of house plants my mom and I like to keep around.
